Winter Workout Outfit

Im a Personal trainer... i'm usually up at 4-4:30am in the morning out of the house at 5:00-6:00am, It is freezing cold (thank god for the seat warmers) and I still want a cute but warm outfit to go out in. Below I have created an outfit that you can look cute in but still stay warm:

At 5:00-6:00am in the morning it is bloody freezing so that why I would wear such a warm outfit like this, but it still does look really good I promise! As you can see I am a bit obsessed with Lorna Jane they have some of the best workout clothes, I have an LJ collection in my wardrobe!

Baby and Mummy Update

Aghhh my baby is now 8 weeks old... 2 months, how time flies! Being a mum is way easier than what I expected, I had prepared myself for it to be really hard but really its not too hard at all. Im not going to lie at times it can get a bit tough but I absolutely love Riley and couldn't imagine my life without him now!

In about the last 2 weeks or so I have noticed a little smile that he does, it is seriously the cutest thing ever it melts my heart! In the first few weeks it seemed that he really had no clue what was going on but now he is becoming more alert which is amazing. He is able to focus his attention to something which is really cool. One thing I have heard that is really good for the baby is 'tummy time'. This is basically where you let your baby lay on there stomach I usually let him have 10-15 minutes. Some mums have said that there babies hate it but Riley loves it! Riley is a really good sleeper he only wakes up if he is hungry or has a poopy nappy. When I put him to sleep I will always swaddle him in a blanket and he really likes this, this is when he knows that it is bed time. I am still having him sleep in the co-sleeper. Riley has started crying a bit more now which kinda sucks but I knew he would, its not to bad though so I hope it doesn't get too much worse! I have got into the routine to bathe him everyday ( I have been told that its ok) at the end of the night, I then feed him, change his nappy, swaddle him then its bed time. This routine has been really working for us! Riley has now taken on the nickname of 'Riles' at only two months hahah its what most people call him, but i'm fine with it, I quite like it!

Im now of course 8 weeks postpartum and having a baby can sometimes make you feel like you have lost your social life, but I have made an effort to be getting out a lot. My family and friends have also made a huge effort to come over or ask to catch up and see my little man! This week my emotions have been a little cray cray! I have been having some serious mood swings and also i'm so emotional right now. I was told this is just all my hormones going back to normal! I have fell and truly now recovered from giving birth, its all normal again! My belly is still a bit flabby but im working on it im slowly getting more intense workouts, I don't want to rush it. I am about 3.5kgs off my pre baby weight so im getting there THANK GOD! I have been craving sweet foods like crazy this week and since we have a candy bar in our house it can be hard to resist but im on a mission to get back to my pre baby weight, so I have been turning to healthy sweet snacks instead!

These past 5 weeks have been so exciting,crazy and special and have flown by, I love my little boy so much, I can't stop staring at his cuteness! Below I will leave a belly shot (don't worry im working on it) and a few pics of little Riles! Xxx Sammie

Beauty Products im Loving

Beauty Products... A girl can never have to many right?! right! I haven't done a post on this in what seems like forever so here are some products i'm in loveeee with right now!

THE BODY SHOP SEAWEED CLARIFYING TONER-
I have spoken about this in a previous post but I didn't use it for a while and I had a few spots popping up which I hadn't had had happen in along time (the spots could have been from stress) so I thought I would start using this again ITS AMAZING my skin has started clearing up alot. I really recommend this toner.

REVLON COLOUR STAY 24hr FOUNDATION FOR COMBINATION-OILY SKIN-
Since I had been getting the spots I needed a foundation that gave more coverage than just a BB cream. This foundation is great it lasts really well on my skin gives good medium coverage but you can definitely build up to full coverage. I love that I only touch up with powder 1-2 times a day.

STAY MATTE PRESSED POWDER-
I can not describe how fab this stuff is it is just the bomb.com. So many people have the same obsession with it as I do, if you don't have this stuff you need it! It just finishes your skin off perfectly.

MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO LASTING DRAMA GEL EYELINER-
For years now I have been using the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner which I have loved to death, but I have to say the maybelline one gives it a run for its money, it is cheaper and I would say just as good! I have found it doesn't dry out as quickly as the Bobbi Brown one either! You don't need to have much on your brush to created the perfect eyeliner look- it is great for a cat eye!

YSL RADIANT TOUCH CONCEALER/HIGHLIGHTER-
My God this stuff is amazing! I get under eye circles pretty badly because I wake up early. I have had products that mostly cover them up and brighten but this stuff wowzers, it makes me look like I have had a major sleep in. The brightening of this product is unbelievable, it works wonders for we and is worth the money! But please... don't cover blemishes with it.

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL-
My friend who is a makeup artist put me on to this product. I was telling her that my pores are very visible so she told me about this and I really do like it! I put it on before foundation, it is basically a primer but it moisturises and helps hides pores! LOVEEE IT!

L'OREAL TELESCOPIC SHOCKING EXTENSIONS MASCARA-
Aghhh this stuff is so good. It makes my lashes look really long- which is what every girl wants! It is way easier than false lashes and looks nearly as good!

MAC LIPSTICK IN ANGEL-
This is the perfect every day soft pink nudey colour. This has been my daily lipstick for the past 2 weeks now it just looks great!

YSL PINK IN DEVOTION LIPSTICK-
From a nude colour to a bright pink! This colour is so gorgeous, im really into a bright lip when im not wearing much other makeup and this can just pull together a whole makeup look. I have had so many people come up to me and say how good my lipstick is and what it is and that is always a good sign!

ORLY NAILPOLISH IN ARTIFICAL SWEETNER-
This is the perfet pink colour! I have been wearing it quite a lot lately. I have never really been into pink nailpolishes but this one my sister got for me and I thought I would give it a try and I love it!

GHD ECLIPSE HAIR STRAIGHTER-
As im sure most of you would know GHD is the best hair straighter brand in the business! They have recently bought out this new one and it is so good way better than the other one that I have. I love a straight hair look but it also curls really well. As usual it is not a cheap purchase but it is worth the money!

Being a Mumma

I really had no idea how I would take to being a mum. Being a mum is now the best thing in the world. This is my first child so of course I'm learning as I go but I have to say I think I'm doing ok! At times it can be hard and a bit stressful especially when you hear your baby crying, but it still the best thing ever. Riley is now 2 weeks old and for the 2 weeks he has been in this world he has been such a well behaved baby, he will only cry when he needs something like a nappy change (GROSS), if he is too hot or too cold or needs some milk. Talking about milk, I made the choice to breastfeed, My mum breastfed with all her 3 children and I like the idea of my baby drinking natural milk it just seems healthier to me. Breastfeeding is hard, it really is I'm not going to sit hear and lie and say it is the best thing, its really not but I think it is the best thing for my baby and I also get to bond with Riley.

Its been 2 weeks and yes I'm already sleep deprived and so is my husband! Riley will usually get up every 2-4 hours to feed and at those times I will usually check his nappy. As much as I would LOVE to have my baby with me in the bed I know that he will get use to it and it will be a big issue trying to get him to sleep in his own bed. I seriously could not have him sleeping in his nursery at night, I just couldn't! But we ordered this thing online called a Co sleeper, I really recommend this. It is like a cot but it attaches to your bed so the baby gets use to sleeping by themselves but they are right next to you it is just the best. For napping I got as a baby shower present this cool tv thing which monitors your baby in his cot, you can see what the baby is doing, hear the baby and it also monitors the heart beat. So I let Riley have 1 or 2 naps in his nursery a day so he gets use to sleeping there!

Being a mum is the best thing ever it is so special, there are a few things that aren't so great but you get over those because at the end of the day it doesn't matter you have a gorgeous little baby, all you mummas will know what im talking about! Xxx Sammie

Wedding Update

All my mind is thinking about right now is wedding, wedding, wedding! I wanted to give a little update on how im going with my wedding planning. I haven't done many posts on my wedding because a lot of my family and friends read a blog so I want it to be a suprise for them, and also a wedding is quite private so im not giving to much away. Don't worry after the wedding you will all get the goss!

Location! Tyler and I both 100% wanted an outdoor wedding we are the outdoorsy couple. Perth has so many gorgeous places to get married. We considered the beach but I wanted to get dressed up not have a caz beachy wedding dress! We booked the location for the ceremony ages ago and all im saying is that it is in a beautiful quite common outdoor garden wedding venue.

Reception! I have to say most of the planning goes into the reception. We have chosen to have it in a STUNNING event area, it has river views and everything else we wanted. We are having a three course sit down meal and we have just started working on a menu we are making up with the chef! We want our reception to be lots of fun, lots of music and dancing we don't want ANYONE to be bored.

The dress! As I mentioned in a previous post im getting this designed by a family friend who I just adore, I love her work. She designed Sammies wedding dress which was gorgeous and perfect for her. I have now collected all my inspiration images and im up to the stage where me and Danielle are working together to get bits and pieces from my photos that I love and designing my dress! Its coming along!

For our honeymoon we have booked to go to the gorgeous Bora Bora somewhere we have always wanted to go! Then straight from Bora Bora we are staying on The Gold Coast for 6 nights we are meeting up with friends and the we are flying with our friends to Sydney for 5 nights so its a big after wedding/honeymoon celebration!

CONGRATULATIONS SAMMIE!

A few days ago my beautiful sister Sammie gave birth to the most gorgeous little baby I have ever seen, Riley James Renzullo was born at 10:06pm weighing 7.5 pounds. I was lucky enough to see her give birth to little Riley she did such a great job (I was balling my eyes out when he came out) it was such a special moment that I will never forget!

I thought as something nice for her I would get some of her friends and our family to write a message for her to make her feel special! So I hope you love it Sam Sam!

Congrats my gorgeous Sam sam I love you so much and I love my cute little nephew so much as well. You are going to me the best mum I have already seen you but this into practice! I love you Xxx JJ
