Little Angel

You may or may not have seen on my twitter that I announced I'm having a...
Baby girl. When I found out I just suddenly got 10x more into the fact that I'm pregnant! I would have been thrilled with a baby boy or a girl, but what girl doesn't dream of having a little girl of there own to look after. I remember when I was little I had this little pram and out of all my dolls I had this one favourite and she was actually like my daughter ha ha ha... I didn't want to leave her I pushed her everywhere, she ate with me and slept next to me in this little cot. Now this childhood memory of mine is becoming a reality I'm going to have my own bubba girl to look after push around in her pram sleep next to her and she will become my bestfriend just like my doll was when I was little.

I had to wait so long to tell my friends and family and you girls what gender baby we were having... Ty and I found Out before we went on our honeymoon so 4 weeks... Aghh it was total tourture but we wanted to have a little gender reveal party to announce hahah.... Fussy I know ha ha ha! But the shopping for baby clothes has now began and I have to say they have the cutest clothes ever for babies so sorry to bank account in advance! We haven't decided on a name yet and I think I'm gonna keep that one private until she is born... But it will probably take us till then to decide anyway we aren't the most organised of people I must say!

On behalf of Sammie and I we would just like to wish you all the merriest Christmas and a happy new year. We are going to take a few weeks off the blog but thankyou all you beautiful Glammin Girls for reading this year... And we will back in 2014 (whattt crazy) refreshed for another amazing year of blogging! Thankyou again for reading Sending you all big love over Christmas X X

My Baby Shower!

Woww! What an incredible day This was..  I still can't believe this incredible baby shower was thrown for my baby and I! What started out as my mum and Sammie saying they would throw me a baby shower and me saying ok but I just want it to be low key and not too extravagant, they took no notice and designed this spectacular baby shower fit for a princess!

My mum has the most incredible backyard and sense of style and design and the same with Sammie since she is an interior designer, I mean which interior designer does not have the most amazing taste. They decided to hold it at my mums house, and Wow did it look spectacular. The theme of the decor was and old glam concept with the colour pallete including white, gold and of course pink because if you didn't know I am expecting a baby girl,Something if I was designing I wouldn't have chosen but it looked stunning so I'm so glad they did it and not me! There were gorgeous Persian rugs, china, trays, glassware and sequin linens. The whole event was just over the top but oh so fab! The whole day myself and the guests where just in awe of the beauty and attention to detail in the design!

Everyone was served light lunch, plus a biscuit bar, they knew it would be perfect since biscuits are one of my personal favourite treats and its something unique and not a same old candy bar which I did have at my wedding.. Can't be using the same thing twice can we now! My mum and Sammie designed the most beautiful cake which was accented with lace and gold crown for my little to be princess.. Well Im hoping not to much of a princess!!!

I would just like to thank Sammie and especially my mum for holding my baby shower at her house and just organising this for me. And just a huge thankyou from me to all the guests who attended, I loved having you and celebrating with me on the day! It was a day I will never forget it was perfect.

Our Honeymoon Adventure...First stop Bora Bora!

It is late but I really wanted to share.. Bora Bora to Hawaii to our old favourite Bali (which I'm not going to write a post on because every 2nd person goes there ha ha! And basically all we did was relax!) I couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon EVER it was just the best experience. To have this as the first memory as husband and wife is a pretty bloody good one! I thought I would share with you our adventure and share all the fun things we got up too!

First stop on the HM was the absoloutey gorgeous Bora Bora. This is somewhere we had both wanted to go for such a long time We stayed at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort which was spectacular... And while I was there I found out that my favourite family ever besides my own the Kardashians stayed here when they came to Bora Bora eeekkkkk! We arrived on the island, the resort was on, in style on a private speed boat which was so much fun speeding across the crystal clear sea. When we arrived at our overwater villa, (the water was literally on our doorstep) we were both like whatttt is this really ours for the next 9 days. Besides tanning, and admiring the gorgeous view and of course swimming in the ocean we were on the go all the time, we wanted to explore this gorgeous place and just live it up while we were here as Sammie would say YOLOin it ha ha ha, God love her! One of the many highlights of the trip was a snorkelling trip we did, I actually want to be a mermaid after doing that seeing the amazing colourful fish, sting rays and the many coral gardens over a 3 1/2 hour time period. Another amazing thing we did was a helmet dive and basically instead of seeing the marine life from deep under the sea, they take you to a not so deep area and you can walk on the sand and explore. You are just walking through fish colourful fish, and seeing sting rays was the coolest thing EVER! It was truly incredible and I'm so glad I did it.

If your not so into Being right in with the marine life and more into just exploring the island, a fun way to do this and something we found so much fun was a 2hr JetSki island tour. We have our own JetSki at Home but this obviously beats anything we have ever done before. We stopped off at 2 locations A private motu and then this amazing strip of white sand in the middle of a lagoon, This was the best way ever to explore the island highly recommend. The sunsets were so spectacular every single evening, so one night we decided to do a private sunset cruise, after a day of full on exploring it was so nice just to relax on a cruise and look at the view with an amazing meal cooked for us. We did a 3 1/2 hour hike tour at the ridges of Anau and Faauni, which is exercise with the the total best view in history and it barley even felt like exercise, Im so glad I went early on in the pregnancy so I was still able to do the hike and everything we did! These were just the highlights of Bora Bora we did so much more. If your looking for a very tropical secluded holiday, I really recommend Bora Bora, it is one of the best places ever!

Bora bora was seriously incredible I would go back in a second! The Hilton was a great place to stay it felt like its own little world but had so much to do! and it has an amazing gym(which was needed ha ha) pool, tennis court and many other things right in the resort plus the perfectional massages and manicures they give... Ladiesss! Well goodbye Bora Bora next stop Hawaii! Xx Jess

The Villa's... And the front yard ha ha ha!

Getting my Mermaid on (well kinda)... I wish!

My New House!

I recently just moved into my incredible new house and I am in love with it, its my perfect house. It is what I would describe as very modern, very costal luxury and it is extremely close to the beach so the theme fits well! We lived basically right on the beach before and I don't think we could survive living away from it since we are so use to having it on our doorstep! It is a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house, which is very spacious and has amazing high ceilings. The most incredible part about this house besides the incredible pool (water girl at heart) is the studio appartment which is attached to the house. it has a private garage,bathroom/ensuite and kitchenette! Amazing! I let Tyler turn this into a bit of man cave for now since a i do feel a bit sorry for him that he is going to be in a house with 3 girls, before we turn it into a gym at some stage! So I thought I would give you all a tour around the new place, since I love having a sneaky look at other peoples homes! A huge thanks goes out to Sammie who did an incredible job with helping with the interior and exterior without her it wouldn't look as good as it does (if I do say so myself) we kept the interior and exterior modern yet simple, which is totally my thing. My friend is actually a photographer so she kindly came over and took a few pictures, to show you around! The place does still have things to be done but I just wanted to move in and get the move over and done with before baby comes and have time to get use to and sort out everything! I hope you like the new place!

This is the enterance of the house. The thing I love is how spectacular the doors are, its not just your ordinary door! I also love how you can walk straight through to the backyard of the house if we are having a party out the back, but you also have the option of going straight into the house. The double sets of doors are also a great addition to the house since it makes it that much safer.

This is what I like to call the 'Lobby' I don't know if thats what its really called but It sounds fancy haha! We wanted to keep this area pretty simple (like the rest of the house) and make this gorgeous rug that I picked up the feature, its very abstract but it just fits in so well, because I already had the light and I knew I wanted it to go in this area so when I saw the rug it was a total score, they go like a match made in heaven I think!

The Lobby area leads straight through to the kitchen. I love how there are doors on this area because in my last house it was all open plan, so when I had people over they saw the chaotic mess in the kitchen which I hated.

This is a view of the kitchen! I love my kitchen, in the last house we had a huge kitchen and by huge i mean massive and it was really unnecessary because none of us are cooks, I try to keep what I cooked simple so there was all this unused kitchen space and it was a waste! This kitchen is the perfect size it can fit 3 people in without getting in each other's way! The colour pallete of the kitchen is one of my favourites the crispness of the white but the contrast of the earthy browny tone, then in contrast with the floorboards. The drop lights just add the finishing touch to this kitchen, its something little but I feel like it looks complete with them.

My dining area I will admit isn't the most practical, there are 3 people living here soon to be 4, I have a huge family but this table just went so well with everything I couldn't say no! I am on the look out for a bigger version of this table, for a good deal! But until then a I have other tables to put out when people come over! The over lights which look like candles are one of my favoure things in the house, it is such a cool little feature to have and they are so me ha ha ha! Rugs are a theme Through out the house and this is a really simple rug but it just adds that pop of colour that I feel is needed, other wise this area would be quite bland.

This is the family room where we will all sit at night and chill out together. The tv isn't the biggest, but a i really really love the shelves that surround it so I could Sacrafice our big tv (RIP). The two orange chairs add another element of colour to the room in contrast to the blue ottoman, the rug which in my eyes is perfection, I think it my favourite but tough call. Then we chose a very plain sofa which I think goes amazing with these very unique cushions, that fit in nicely with the rug and ottoman and chairs.

This is the lounge, I wouldn't call it a formal lounge since this is a room we use if one of us wants to watch a different show to whats on the main tv! This room we kept very simple. The walls in this room are actually wallpaper, and I've never actually been a fan of it because I always thought it looked fake and tacky but this one too me doesn't look it at all! When Sammie showed me these couches there was no question I was going to get them haha they were blue they were simple they were perfect! There is a sliding door which blocks and soundproofs this room from the living/dining/kitchen area. In the future I plan on making this room a theatre room, but for now Its staying like this!!

This is our outdoor area, for the moment this is just temporary table we are getting one the same style but its huge, it had to be shipped from another country so it's taking a damn while but it will be worth the wait since we need a big table out here to entertain! We have little bench area to serve drinks or prepare food, or put out snacks but we have a barbecue coming which has a little mini outdoor kitchen built in so I can't wait to get that and everything will be complete out here! I love how spacious this area is, we seem to have people over every weekend so this is the perfect entertaining space.

This is the pool which is what I fell in love with when I saw this place, even though eventually we want to do a lot of work to this area. We want to expand the pool move the deck back a bit, move the pool fence back, and move the garden beds, I'm hoping we get around to doing this soon since I do like a big pool! But other than the size I love the design its very modern, And I like the stepping stone look around the outside of the pool. And aren't our deck chairs just total modern fab!

Welcome to Tyler's man cave! This is his little hangout to get get away from the girls! I never really liked the man cave idea but when Sammie designed this one I thought this was an ultra fab man cave with its own kitchen and ensuite whattttt! Ash and I even love to hangout here sometimes, but apparently we are only allowed in on Ty's approval which is probably a good thing other wise it will turn into a lady cave ha ha ha! Ty insisted having a ping pong table dead set in the middle of the room, and I was hesitant like I was with the whole room but a nice rug will bring me round to the idea!

Now onto the upstairs This is the master bedroom.. I am all about space and when I said I wanted a spacious master bedroom I really did get spacious there's still more of the room thats not in the picture and I love it since there will be a baby sleeping in here for a few months! At first I wasn't sure about the whole bed frame thing  it came with the house, but now I think its such a unique idea and it adds another dimension to our bedroom, the bluey purple cusions are so necessary in this room to add that pop of vavoom because without them it would be so plain! I even get my own little makeup station in this room.. Heavennn and having a makeup artist live with me its perfect ha ha ha!

This is our ensuite everything is all about spacious with the master bedroom and ensuite! This is the most spacious ensuite I have ever seen again its bigger than the picture shows. The star of the ensuite is the bath.. Yes it is floating and slightly tilted, I think I actually screamed when Sammie showed me a picture of this bath, I mean isn't it one of the coolest things (its the little things) The huge amount of bench space and the huge mirror is exactly how a bathroom should be! No fighting for bench space here!

This is my best friend Ash's room who is Living with us right now. This is such a femine room and just so pretty. We used wallpaper again here and I again love it, I now realise not all wallpaper looks fake  ha ha! The wood dresser adds that bit of old meets new, which I think is beautiful since this was my Nonna's! And In this house every bedroom comes with a bathroom so I love that everyone doesn't have to use the same bathroom.

This room is going to turn into my baby's room, but for now Sammie has been sleeping over a lot so this has been my nephew's Riley's room! If I did have a son I think this would be the cutest room ever how cute is that surfboard and can we just take a moment and look at that desk chair!

This is our guest bedroom at the moment its bascially Sammie's ha ha but this is just for anyone who stays with us and I do like that option of having a guest room and its mainly the reason we moved because at the old house we wouldn't have that option once baby arrives. This is the only room in this house which I would call classic, there's nothing exteremly modern about it but I like that one room is like that. To me it kind of looks like a hotel room, I don't know why but I just get that vibe and that could be cool for people staying with us it could feel like a holiday.. The Malaholin-Moressi lodge kinda has a ring to it!

This is The home office! Tyler and I do share this but it is mainly his since he runs his own buisness! This room is very clean, simple and most importantly professional! You may be like where the hells the computer but we just put our laptops on there when needed to keep it clean. The storage in here is amazing and we made sure of it, I didn't want papers all over the desk! I also love how its right out the front of the house so that clients dont have to be walking through our house, and it can be professional.

I Hope you liked having a sneaky peaky of our house ... There is definetly work to still be done the first main project is starting work on my babies nursery planning is in progress aghh yay, but for the moment i'm happy with it since she will start off sleeping in our room! And in no way is this bragging about my house, just giving you girls a look around and give some inspo to anyone moving house or looking for a new place!!!! Xx Jessica
