What I'm taking in mine and my babies hospital bag

Well I'm well and truly in the final stages of my pregnancy now, I could give birth at any time in the next few weeks! This has been such an incredible journey for my husband and I it has just been so special, I already feel like I have a bond with my little Riley. I can't wait for him to come out so I can meet him! Anyways since i'm getting close to my due date I have mine and my babies hospital bag packed so I thought I would share with you what I have packed!

MY HOSPITAL BAG:
Hospital Paperwork
Health Insurance Card

Thongs
Purse (of course)
Bras N Things summer pyjamas
Victoria Secret pyjama pants
Cute Victoria Secret slippers
A heap of ugly granny underwear that I got from Kmart
Maternity bras from online maternity stores (I have already tried for size)
Remington hairdryer
TGel Shampoo
Redkin conditioner
$2 Target dry shampoo (its the bomb if you see it,get it recent bargain find of mine)
Heaps and heaps of giant maternity pads from Woolworths
Breast pads I was maternity shopping one day so I just ordered a few packs
Toothbrush (Colgate if your wondering)
Colgate toothpaste
The Body Shop body wash
Hair brush
Hair ties
My good old trusty Witch Hazel toner
Body Shop tea tree cleanser
Body Shop SPF moisturiser
Simple Face Wipes
Venus shaver
Rexona roll on deodorant

Makeup bag- mascara,foundation,concealer,primer,eyeshadow palette,bronzer,1lipstick, 1 lipgloss 2 lipbalms.

A few small snacks (muesli bar and a little pack of crackers)

Baby be mine x2 birthing gowns (I got 2 incase I want to wear one as my pjs on the first night
mini size lady gaga perfume (because I have the smallest size so its perfect and it will make me smell good!)
and of course clothes (I am bringing quite a few so im not going to list them all)



RILEY'S HOSPITAL BAG:
Huggies disposable nappies
6 rompers
1 pair of pants
1 tee shirt
6 vests
4 pairs of socks
Baby wipes (I got these all natural damp wipes)
Mi Essence cream (this was recommended my a friend)
4 wraps
3 burping cloths
2 blankets
1 beanie


These are all the things I have packed some of them I am using still so when i'm in labour I will just quickly put them in my bag. There could be a few things I add in or take out since i'm a bit indecisive right now ha ha! If you know anything I have forgotten or think I should take with me tell me in the comments or on twitter, since this is my first I wasn't really sure what to take!

Hi Lovelies! I’m Courtney from All Things Fabulous Blog and I am so thrilled to be guest posting for Jess and Sammie! When they approached me to do a post with the idea of things I am loving for summer I got super excited, and honestly I found it a little hard to narrow it down to under 10 items because there are so many things I am crushing on at the moment. Anyway below are my Summer Essentials that I can’t live without during these sunny, warm summer days, and I think you will all love them too!

1: Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist $23.95- I discovered this gem a few years ago and haven’t looked back since. I like to keep mine in the fridge and on a hot summers night before I go to bed, I do my usual face routine cleanse, tone etc and then spritz some of this mist on my face. It is so refreshing and cooling and makes you feel extra clean and cleansed. It is also great for travelling as a quick pick me up on those long flights.

2: Country Road Striped Maxi Dress $129.00- I am actually wearing this dress as I type and can be found wearing it at least once every weekend. It is so comfy, flattering and easy. Let’s face it, in summer you want minimal fuss when you are hot and bothered and this is the perfect dress for that. Just throw it on with some cute sandals, a long necklace and some bangles and you are good to go.

3: Garnier BB Cream $13.99- Much like the dress I am also wearing my BB cream right now. I have only recently discovered this gem thanks to my gorgeous twitter friends who recommended it and thank goodness they did! This is such a great product for when you don’t want to wear a full face of make up but still want some coverage. It smooths out all those imperfections, red marks and dark eyes and gives your skin a beautiful healthy glow AND it’s cheap, what more could you want?!

4:OPI Nail Lacquer in A Good Man Darin Is Hard To Find $19.95-I used to stick to pink’s and red’s in summer on my nails but this year I am OBSESSED with orange shades. They are so fun and fresh and brighten up your outfit and your day. And what other polish to use but OPI, because it’s the best.

5: Mimco Cocoon Bag $349.00- I have had my cocoon bag for a few years now and it is the perfect addition to any wardrobe! Although it’s a ‘small’ bag it is definitely big enough to put all your daily essentials in there. It goes with just about any outfit and the strap can be shortened to give you a different look.

6:Tangle Teezer Brush $29.95-I was sitting in the chair at the hair salon when I spotted this beauty, and knew it had to be mine! It now sits in my handbag and is so easy to find as it’s neon pink (but is available in many other colours and designs). This brush is fantastic because it doesn’t pull on your hair and break it, so gentle and perfect for wet hair. So after you have been to the beach and want to pop across to the bar for a drink just run the tangle teezer through your hair and boom you are good to go!

7: Sass & Bide Havaianas $49.95- These limited edition Havi’s are super stylish and I just couldn’t let them sell out before I snapped up a pair. I am obsessed with all thing leopard so this was a no brainer! As I’m sure you all know Havi’s are the comfiest most stylish thongs around and a must have item for summer and what better way to wear them than with the glamorous Sass & Bide label on them!?

Name Reveal

I'm now in the final stages of my pregnancy. My due date has been moved forward because it looks like my little boy could be coming earlier than expected! When we knew we were having a boy logically we should have started thinking about names straight away but we left it late! We didn't realise how hard it would be to pick a name that was nice and we both liked,It took ages. One night we even stayed up 3 hours on the net reading books picking out names and on that very night we decided on the name we wanted! I didn't know if I wanted to wait until by baby was born to reveal the name but i'm so certain that this is the name I want to have. As soon as my husband and I saw this name we fell in love with it! Ok so THE........NAME.............IS........................RILEY JAMES RENZULLO! I just fell in love with the name Riley,it was perfect. Riley goes really well with James and James is the name of my nonno who passed away so I thought it was really sweet that we are giving him my nonnos first name as a middle name!


I'm really happy with the choice of name and my family and friends love it too! Tell me in the comments what boy names you like!?
