Summer Faves!

Summer is my favourite season of the year, The sun, the beach, the outdoors, cocktails by the pool. What isn't there to love about about summer! Today I'm sharing with you some things I will be using the hell out of this summer!

Tigerlilly Goa Geo Midi Dress- Me and maxi dresses just go we are like a match made in heaven. I absoloutey love maxi dresses and you can't get any more summery than a maxi! When I saw this dress I absoloutey fell in love the pattern is amazing. I would make this a casual day outifit with a pair of black thongs and then wear some cute sandals to dress it up at night!

Suboo Geometric Printed Maxi Dress- The colour, the split im the leg and patern on this dress caught my eye right away. The different bright colours make it so summery and then in contrast with the black, I just fell in love! I have a tan Italian skin tone so when I saw this I thought it would really complement that! 

Bardot Havana Skirt- Again with the colour... Wow how couldn't you think this skirt is just to die for. The unique patern is something I really liked about this and the cross over design I absoloutey love. With a plain black top as they have in the picture and some really simple shoes... You have a killer outfit going on!

Cooper St Digital Mosaic Playsuit- Playsuits just scream summer for me. They are one of the most comfortable outfits to wear for me. The bottom half of this is what really made me go  I NEED! Its so bright and colourful and just summer in a Playsuit, and the laid back draped look of the top is just beautiful. Too dress this up as an evening outfit I would just pair some killer heels or wedges with this gorgeous Playsuit!

Sabo Skirt Castle Shorts- These are one of the most chicest shorts I have ever seen. The lace detail is just gorgeous how could I say no, and for such an amazing price I couldn't resist! With a crop top or a top tucked in... These shorts are gonna be the star of the outfit

Staple The Label Black And White Panel Tank- When I looked at this top I just thought CHIC! Its so basic yet still so gorgeous, I will be able to wear this with so many outfits so it was a must have for sure! 

Triangl Swimwear Jessy Nightfox Bikini- I was taking a bit of a risk with This purchase. The bright yellow was definitely a bold choice, but honestly I'm so happy I took the risk because I love this bikini. The matte black bottoms really balance out the yellow top this is the perfect summer bikini. I've been eyeing off another one of the bikinis so I might have to go back and get it!

Havianas Slim Rubber Logo Black/Light Golden- My Havianas get a real workout in summer so every year I'm having to buy new ones. When I saw these one I was like oh hell to the yes black and gold super classy (well as classy as a thong can be) and then with the pink logo aghhh my perfect thong! 

Thierry Lasry Square Frame Tortoiseshell Acetate Sunglasses- I absoloutey love Tortoise print and I love this style of sunglass, so I knew these were perfect. They were on the pricey side for a pair of sunnies but in summer these are an absolute essential and these were just way too cute to resist... My husband may have had a freak out ha ha!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist- I have been using this amazing stuff for a few year now and its a absolute gem, so glad I discovered this stuff its just great for Summer. Its just so fresh and feels rejevunating on the skin, and also has a cooling feel to it. Love this, pretty much life changing in summer!

J Bronze Medium Tanning Mousse-  Who wants to be looking pale in summer, Not me thats for sure! I know this says Dark Tanning in the picture but I use the medium one(pic didn't come up on the website) and its my new favourite, beats my old faithful St Tropez. The thing I love about this one is that the medium one just enhances your natural tan, it doesn't completely change my colour. Jess uses the dark and she raves about it aswell! 

M.A.C Ravishing Red Lipstick- This is the perfect red lipstick for summer. You don't want a really dark dramatic red lip in summer, so this is great because it is nice and bright and adds a really nice pop of colour.

YSL All In One BB Cream- I'm in love with this stuff. In summer I really don't want to cake on the foundation because it's most likely to melt off. I love BB creams because you still have something on but not too much at all. This YSL is incredible because it conceals any imperfection (expect under eye circles which I use concealer for) evens out my skin tone perfectly and its super hydrating, all at the same time as looking super natural and feeling like you have nothing on.

Thankyou for reading... I had the most incredible day of my life It was amazing... I had so much fun it was absoloutey perfect. I just wish I could have shown you the reception it was so beautiful! And just so you all know... I'm drinking that non alcoholic stuff not champagne (I wish) ha ha, which was actually pretty gross ha ha! I hope you all love the pictures as much as I do... Mr Riley!

My little Riley bubby is turning into right the little man now, he's now nearly 9 months. Its crazy how this time has just flew by. It feels like just yesterday he was this tiny little thing I had just given birth too! I know I haven't updated or written about Mr Riles in so long but over protective daddy didn't want baby  on the internet but I convinced him, since I wanted to show the world my precious little boy! 

Riles is the cutest little boy, he has the best personality. He actually reminds me a lot of Jess. He has this crazy super energetic personality he is always smiling and laughing and will rarely cry unless something is wrong. He is really independant which I think is amazing. He oviously loves lots of cuddles and kisses but he is also fine playing by himself and entertaining himself. This made the transition from mummy and daddy's room to his own nursery pretty easy, at first he did make a little fuss but he got use to it really quickly! Riley has developed really really well I'm so proud ha ha! He can roll around which he does all the time Aunty JJ likes to join in (big kid problems). He sucks his thumb this is so adorable, I just hope it doesn't become a habit. He can sit up by himself, I didn't expect at this age a baby could sit, its so cool just to see him chillin on the couch or just sittin in his cot by himself. Riles puts everything into his mouth or up to his mouth, some of the things are so gross so I get my discipline on and give him a sturn NO, so he knows it's wrong. This boy I'm telling you loves his food he's been on solids for a few months now and absoloutey loves it, he's such a good eater no fuss at meal times! The most exciting thing is that he laughs and squeals all the time, which is way too adorbable. His first word was dada, he also says bubba since I call him that quite a bit and sometimes says mumma a word I wish he said more ha ha! He also responds to his own name! My poor little man is teething at the moment lots of cold frozen sucky thing (not sure what there called) and lots of love from mumma! Riley is turning out to look a lot like his dad, but has some features of mine like my nose and lips but overall daddies boy! 

Now a little update on mummy life for me 9 months into it. As I posted before my experience started off a bit overwhelming and I had post partum depression, but now I can't imagine my life without the little one. I love my life now I don't want my old life back! I now weigh 5kgs less thanks to Jess for her eating plan and exercise routine. I am feeling better than ever. Riley will sleep right through the night which gives me a full nights sleep. I think part of the reason I was feeling so crappy after having the baby was that I was feeling so fat and bloated and I was sleep deprived. He didn't wake up to often but if you know me you know I need my sleep! My stomach now has really tonned up before it was really flabby and I worked really hard on trying to firm that up! My few stretch marks that I did have, disappeared and my linear negra (line thing) as I use to call it is still faintly there but hardly ha ha! I'm still breastfeeding and pumping A LOT, I give him pumped milk more than straight from me just with timing. I'm going up until he's one if I can. I have weined Riley off a few feeds which was suprisinling easy he loves his solids! I have got my period back 2 months ago which was bitter sweet. I mean I feel like a woman again ha ha but damn they are annoying... Hello cramps. One thing that kinda sucks is I had to get a nanny. She is amazing, she is great with Riles but I don't want him to know his nanny more than me but it had to be done, My husband I work I do take 2 days off a week to be with him though!  

Below I'm going to attach some favourite pictures of my little man, the last picture is my Absoloute favourite he just looks absoloutey adorable, his eyes look amazing it was when he had the brightest blue eyes... Until they changed big and brown!Xxx Sammie
