Getting Fit For Summer

Girlsssss summer is well on its way so if your wanting that bangin bikini bod this year I would have hoped you would be well on your way to your goal by now! But for those who haven't started better late then never right?!  Here's so of my tips on how to get that body you want to look hot in a bikini! 

COMMIT- Your first step to sucsess is committing not half committing FULLY committing! List down somewhere that will remind you why you started when you feel like quitting, reasons why you are doing this! Write down your starting weight so when you feel like giving in you see what you don't want to go back to! 

KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOUR EATING- Its the first thing I ask any of my clients to do so I can see any patern in there eating habits and see what they are doing wrong and how it can be fixed, it's so easy to do this for yourself! Write down EVERYTHING I know how us girls like to lie to make ourselves feel better but really this could give the shakeup thats needed so be 100% honest, write down everything you drink also even that extra glass of wine you shouldn't have had!

GET A CUTE WORKOUT WARDROBE- What could motivate us more than having a super cute workout wardrobe to chose from to make us get our butt into gear!Have a variety of clothes and sneakers to chose from to help you get out and go to the gym or go for a run! 

CONTROL YOUR PORTIONS-This is something really important to getting YOUR perfect body! Serve your meals on smaller plates and fill them (not heap them FILL them) include lots of vegetables salad and some type of protein! Also don't feel like you have to eat everything you put on your plate once you are full, stop don't force eat! A good tip and what I usually do is instead of ordering a main at restaurants where you feel like you have to try to keep eating even when you are full, order an entree size. 

DRINK LESS- Yes us girls love our alcohol but it does nothing for our body! Half a glass of red wine is the only type of alcohol that will have some benefits but I still don't recommend from a personal trainers point of view. Limit your alcohol intake, maybe to only the weekends or something like that just limit other wise you are going to get your goal much much slower, which is not what we want.

EXERCISE/MOVE- These days its so easy to not move and not exercise, with all this technology its easy to pass up a workout. But comitt, think about your goal will sitting on your ass at home get you to your goal or will a workout?? 30 minutes, ideally 45 minutes of exercise is what will get you to your goal, any amount of exercise after that is a bonus! Whether you go all out for a workout at the gym or a hard beach run or just a walk with the dog is something and it will get you closer to your goal as long as you are moving you are getting closer to that goal! 

I hope these help a bit if you are on the mission for YOUR perfect bikini body! Why I emphasize your is because you should do this for you no one else whether your perfect bikini body is a size 14 or a size 6 do it for you and have a bikini body that you can rock and you can feel fab in!
